We’ve all seen product placements in movies before, and usually we think of big names like Coca Cola or Burger King. What has been very exciting for us, though, is having our own Winston Salem product featured in the movie Along For The Ride.
Along For The Ride is a film about a pair of insomniacs that become friends, embarking on a series of nighttime adventures where the main character discovers new sides of herself.
At one point in the movie the characters go into a store for snacks, and notably pick up a B&G Apple Pie.
This opportunity came about when the production team reached out to us, looking for an authentic southern snack for the movie. They chose our pies because they loved the packaging and the delectable treats inside.
B&G Pies has been around for 70 years, and our pride has been in our handmade fried pies. At one time our team produced a record-breaking 36,000 handmade pies per day.
